OK – I’m so sorry you are having such a bad experience with the broker. That’s unfair. It is hard to comment as I don’t know the restrictions of your loan. Are you able to get out of it without penalty? Is it a fixed rate?

Another option is to go to a mortgage broker to renegotiate the mortgage if that’s possible. You will want to get a lower interest rate as the market is very strong at the moment – especially if your credit is good. There should be a lot of options for you & hopefully you can pay off the debt quickly to restore your credit situation to where it was before.

Do you need a mortgage – i.e. how much money do you have saved? If you do need a mortgage, you’ll have to qualify.
